Two days of with HANNA CINTHIO, introducing and -launching the new hand book for health care staff.
Health care staff treats patients with problems related to the culture of honour - that’s a fact known since long time. Many of the patients living in a family context of honour tell us about the lack of understanding within the health care system.
In all 135 persons from emergency wards, primary health care centres, medical helpline, maternity wards, child health centre, ambulance care, health service at schools, schools listened to Hanna’s lecture and joined the group session and discussion around various cases.
From the follow up questionnaire 106 were filled in and all respondents agree that Hanna is very skilled speaker, who explained facts in a very understandable way. The respondents also comment on her extraordinary ability of put theory into practice with examples well known of the audience. Approximately 80 percent of the respondents said the seminar had of very useful to them. Some 60 minutes was spent on case studies and the groups were mixed so that persons from different settings were placed together. This part was also appreciated, the comments are very useful to meet staff from other areas, to learn and exchange experiences. The group sessions were summed up by Hanna. This way of accounting and deepening of knowledge was much appreciated by the respondents.
